Full Sturgeon Moon *Tonight*
A full Moon opens our hearts. Abundance overcomes feelings of lack and peaceful belonging nudges worry out of the corners of our spines.
Find time to step outside and feel the Moon shine! Tonight you will
The energy of this full Moon carries the gifts you prayed for at the dark moon, but the cycle will not complete. The tension of this month’s Blue Moon leaves the doorway of your hopes open this August. You are expanding your ability to receive. Keep council with your Inner Child and use Play a bit more than Planning as your world shifts.
The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because, as the Moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. It was also called the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.
